Christmas is just around the corner... and that means gift-giving is not far behind. I love gift-giving. It is my favorite thing to do. But, the gifts have to mean something; they have to show the recipient that I pay attention to their interests and personality.
So, if you're like me and are looking for ways to tell your friend "hey you're awesome, here's something special to signify your awesomeness!" then look no further. Here are 10 inTENtional gifts you can make for those special people in your life (pun most obviously intended).

1 for the thrifter:
If your friend loves thrifting or has a killer aesthetic when it comes to clothing, thrift them an outfit! Head to your nearest Goodwill, throw together 2-4 cohesive items (tops, bottoms, accessories, the possibilities are endless), wash those bad boys so they're good as new, and give your friend a fit they're sure to enjoy.

2 for the nature lover:
You can use constellation patterns to illuminate the specific pattern of the night sky on important dates in your relationship (e.g. when you met, favorite memory, their birthday, etc). Brings out the astronomer in all of us and is a great reminder of good times.

3 for the fashionista:
Get your bestie an item (socks, blanket, mask, pajamas...) with your your face on it. It'll be a crowd pleaser, and they'll never be able to forget what you look like!

4 for the music lover:
When you make a specialized playlist, happy tears will be shed. Nowadays, you can even whip one up on Spotify in a matter of minutes. And if you want to take it one step further, write down the specific reason why you chose each song you included.

5 for the doer:
Plan an outing! Bonus: make a jar with things to do in the future so indecisiveness can't be an excuse.

6 for the hometown homie:
Zip/area code art on stickers, hats, and a plethora of other items is a personal favorite trick of mine. You can put these numbers on literally anything to remind someone of their hometown and your childhood shenanigans.

7 for the romantic:
Make a powerpoint about all of the reasons you love them. Or, switch it up and make a powerpoint about all of the reasons you don't. Either way works. Present it to them on Christmas morning, their birthday, your 7 year anniversary, so many options.

8 for the adventurer:
You honestly can't go wrong with a road trip and an airbnb. Go with the flow or make an itinerary. Just have fun with it and make some memories to last a lifetime!

9 for the introvert:
Buy them a book you know they'll enjoy and throw in a bag of their favorite kind of tea or coffee beans while you're at it. (And to go above and beyond: get the same book for yourself to read and tell them you'd love to have a mini book club to talk about it).

10 for the extrovert:
Get them something to really help their vibrant energy shine through. I suggest a karaoke microphone for singing at the top of their lungs or a board game for the parties they're sure to be hosting.

bonus! for the sentimental:
Give a keychain, or literally any object, with your handwriting on it. Handwriting is senti stuff people and is sure to tug on heartstrings.
These are just a few ideas out of a million. But at the end of the day, as long as a gift is given with love, it is the perfect gift you could possibly give.
Comment below the best gift you've ever received! Hope to see you on the flip side and happy holidays :)
Love, Erica
